Autumn is a rush. Summer vacations are over, the brisk air gets you moving faster. The cold makes you think faster. Intensity strengthens.
Astrologically, the tone follows. Last week was the advent of Autumn with the equinox and Sun’s entry into Libra. Time to make things happen before the “death” of winter.
In everyday speak… if you have big goals you want to reach – you have an opportunity right now to nurture key relationships that’ll help to get you exactly where you want to go. Make sure you make the most of the next 13 days, it can be a game-changer.
More on why we have this opportunity right now. This week, Pluto stations to Direct Motion on Thursday, ending his 5-month retrograde period. (See Pluto’s Power Retrograde article from April here). This happens as Mars approaches a trine to Pluto, which perfects on Thursday.
Meaning, something nasty is about it be unearthed on a collective level. I pray it’s not fighting and war.
On a personal level, you’ve come to know your triggers that keep you from achieving greatness. Very quickly, you’ll have your opportunity to give them their place (below you where they originate) and stand to push through your life and create the change in yourself and the world that is only yours to accomplish.
Pluto Direct Motion also wants you to be the agent of change in the outer world. In a positive expression, he’s all about power and control (in emotions and environment) to transform and evolve the old.
Jupiter is preparing to enhance these qualities in only 2 weeks.
Jupiter has been transiting Libra for nearly a year, and he will depart this sign October 10th to not return to it for another 12 years. His journey then becomes that of the Scorpio flavor (of which Pluto and Mars co-rule the sign). Jupiter will have to cooperate with Pluto and Mars in th way he gives.
Next week I’ll explain even more how the character of Jupiter in Scorpio might show up. (For me, on reflection it set up everything I enjoy today… but in the moment, that was difficult.).
First, collect your assets to fuel your journey ahead.
Focus on these 3 areas for the next 10 Days #JupiterInLibra
Jupiter expands, magnifies, multiplies, and accentuates what’s already there. He wants you to push past any thresholds of your day-to-day mentality and set you up for what is meaningful, life-giving and opens you to the legacy of your life.
In Libra, it’s been about enhancing your opportunities to 1) meet people, 2) deepen your passions, and 3) find that balance between your enriching inner world and your interpersonal life.
Again note that Jupiter’s benevolent aid will depart these Libra opportunities in 2 weeks, October 10th.
It’s easy to take for granted what’s been happening. Hindsight is always 20-20, so let me be your guide so you can take advantage of this goldmine in your life before it’s harder to do the same thing.
If you know what house Libra falls in, add-in the qualities of that house/s to include dimension in how it manifests and where in life you see it play out.
1) Round-Up Interpersonal Relationships.
You may have met people, or people who know people, and now it’s time to round them up because Jupiter in Scorpio wants to profit from those relationships (financially, socially, emotionally). This is where you can find them:
- Your calendar for places and events over the past year.
- That stack of business cards with people who knew people.
- Your partner (romantic or business) & their contacts.
- Your clients’ best friends and close relationships.
WHAT TO DO: Briefly prioritize what kind strategic relationships you’ll want for this power year coming up, and reach out those people and the people who know those people first. You should want and feel like you can support them as well.
The Aquarius Moon this weekend helps you make connections and re-kindle those relationships. (Too it’s good for keeping things spontaneous and brief). You don’t have to set up dates with them, you could just send them a letter (don’t you love receiving things in the mail!). Let them know you’re thinking of them and want to support them – please be genuine. (It’s natural to want to reciprocate).
2) Pure Joy. Your Personal Passions.
Jupiter has magnified your passions and things that light you up. There’s a sense of purity and joy to re-connecting and expanding your personal passions.
One of my favorite tools I use my personal coaching clients is making a list of 100 things you love and then 50 things you used to love when you were a kid. It’s a challenging exercise, but in the end you find what lights you up in your purest expression. Often, my clients begin incorporating those things into their life and feel more empowered and embodied because of it.
Jupiter in Libra has had the same effect on your life. And Saturn, under Jupiter’s sign and thus his house rules, has been a great asset to have you commit to what inspires you and ignites your creativity.
When Jupiter goes into Scorpio, it’s time to commit to those fleeting passions and see the depths of human experience it can reveal for you. It’s intense, but it can be a very spiritual time.
WHAT TO DO: Reflect on the past year on what has brought you the most joy or stirred up your zest for life. Ask yourself how valuable having these things in your life have been? Begin the process to commit to doing what lights you up on a regular basis. Ask yourself when and how?
(Insider Tip: Next year things get busy, challenging, and require commitments. Many drop the things that seem luxurious first, like creativity and pleasure projects. This is a recipe for burnout and feeling purposeless. That’s why I recommend you ask yourself the basic questions above).
3) Share Yourself. Maintain the Sacred Self.
How have your ventured to share yourself like you maybe haven’t before this past year?
Libra is the first sign of interpersonal orientation, so it carries with it a sense of self like no other sign. However, Libra makes light of everything. It’s like a first date all the time. No ruffled feathers, say a little about yourself, see how it goes.
Said another way, Jupiter in Libra has encouraged you to play it safe when sharing what really has been going on in your inner world. You know it’s necessary to externalize it, but it’s a vulnerable position. So there’s been a balancing act of preserving what sacred to you and finding the way to share your insights and gifts with others.
When Jupiter moves into Scorpio, this quality will shift to deepen the quality of how you share yourself. The topics and conversations in that you engage can be more transformative thanks to your own personal growth and stories.
WHAT TO DO: Ask yourself any or all of these questions:
- How might I share myself and my gifts better?
- In what situations or relationship have I been playing it safe?
- Where can I take more risks in being vulnerable but confident in myself?
- In what ways do I feel safer about sharing my inner experience this past year that I haven’t felt before?
Day Guides: September 26 – October 2, 2017
Read these guides as a whole to get a feel for the week’s tone. There’s always some overlap of themes. Then read them as you need them, day-by-day.
Tuesday – Real-world demands push pressure against your desire to just follow the flow today. Structure out your efforts early in the day so that you can enjoy the more fulfilling moments guilt-free.
Wednesday – Contemplate, organize, and create a fresh slate during the morning’s void moon in Sagittarius, 7:08am-12:24pm EDT. After, the Capricorn Moon puts on the pressure to make your actions amount to something. You can be hard on yourself as a result, but direct the self-criticism to self-motivation to do what’s important to your progress.
Thursday – Wrongs get righted. What was corrupt, flawed, or unearthed over the past 5 months starts to get resolved. Pluto stations to Direct Motion after his Retrograde period. The Capricorn Moon today has all positive aspects, showing that although it’s a dirty and emotional experience, it ultimately is helpful. You’re moving through your past and karma to ultimately transform what excellence – and your achievement of them means to you. This is an important moment to preface Saturn’s added discipline to this story when he enters Capricorn around Christmas this year.
Friday – Pressure builds to tally up and make something of the relationships you’ve built the past year. Jupiter only has 1.5 weeks left in relationship-building, what-you-love, where’s-the-balance Libra before entering Scorpio. He won’t return here for another 12 years. Mercury’s entry into Libra today helps you talk to those you have been introduced, and also those who know somebody you ought to know. Get your list together to call those people over the weekend’s Aquarius Moon.
Saturday – Aquarius Moon encourages you to be social and get the tribe together. Keep conversations short so you can talk to more people! Get people’s numbers to continue the conversation. To emphasize yesterday’s day guide, you have about 1.5 weeks left to round up the relationship and areas of interest to expand and grow over the next 12 years. Then Jupiter (who’s your buddy in this regard) will move his focus to Scorpio themes.
Sunday – The intensity from Thursday continues as Mars perfects his trine to Pluto. When it gets too intense, use the Aquarius Moon to disconnect temporarily and see the bigger picture. Look at hardship from the outside this weekend. And over the next couple days, you can process it, internalize it, and shift from the wisdom you’ve gained in this moment.
Monday – Emotionally-charged day with the Pisces Moon that begins at 10:26am EDT. If you can, take time to be reflective. Process problems that have been brewing without much attention. Untap the creative part of yourself to externalize what’s going on and see what’s actually there. With Pisces, it’s always indirect and associative. There’s more behind the surface – so look for it. (You can find it).
